The being paid not to work crowd(AKA WELFARE)is in full celebratory mode now.
It isn’t enough we pay for homes, food, clothes, cars, TV’s, Nintendo Wii’s, and health care but now we get to even pay more?????
Tell me someone like MLK wouldn’t see a wee little problem with this picture.....
Had a chance to talk with an old friend this evening, he works in DSS locally. He was complaining that with the state cutting back its share of money for programs and more and more people coming in for relief, he felt it was unfair that he had to work harder with less resources.
I took this opportunity to enlighten him to the fact that as more and more people seek hand outs from the government, less and less people are paying into the government.
