Anyone know what the deal is with Lieberman? I thought he said he was againgst it, was going to Filibuster, etc. .

This wasn't the cloture vote. The bill can still be filibustered and it still requires 60 votes to end "debate" (cloture).

Right - thanks for correction. Still true that the best way to put a stop to it was for Joe to vote no today. If any of us had that power in our hands today.... would we miss that chance?
