Although they are worthless hardcore democrat supporters the contamination part is correct. It’s not the smoke, it’s the tars and other alkaloids that are deposited on anything in contact with the smoke. Years ago when smoking was allowed in offices in the military we had to clean our office steel desks and safes so that they could be electro-painted. We had to use acetone based cleaner to clean the buildup of nicotine-tar goo that covered the entire desk or safe. When you applied the cleaner it rolled off as a thick layer and that was even on the newer desks. It’s not hard to understand how that stuff could foul an electronic device but then, Apples are overpriced and overhyped bling anyway.
