Lieberman has stated he will filibuster the bill if the public option is still included in the bill. So, it will be taken out, and put back in conference. No sweat.

I think Lieberman will demand he sits in on the conference calls.
Lieberman is a indepedent and does not get any funds from the DNC for his relection so he needs to keep his insurance PAC happy to get reelection funds.
