BEIJING – Washington's ambassador to Beijing hit out Friday at negative U.S. media coverage of President Barack Obama's visit to China, saying it failed to take into account important progress on many issues.

Although producing no breakthroughs on key issues, Obama's first state visit to the Asian giant that ended Wednesday was heralded by both sides as a success.

The trip was the top news story in China, drawing strong interest from the Chinese public who, surveys suggest, are largely positive in their view of the American president.

The coverage also failed to take into account Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy.

Barry's got the media in "his hip pocket", so if they thought it was bad, it must have been atrocious!

‘The trip was the top news story in China, ‘

We’re supposed to be influenced by this sentence from a Communist country with no freedom of speech?? Good grief.

The media again doing damage control for Obama. When they don’t prop him up, he flops.

The media will start hedging bets as Barry's numbers drop below 50. If the numbers go low enough, they'll turn on him in a Chicago minute. Since he's still their guy, it'll have to be pretty low, though.

If I had to predict, I'd say it'll get there since he seems determined to ram through Obamacare and cap and tax and to top it off find a way to lose in Afghanistan, no matter what the consequences for his party.

Yes, both the Chinese and American Communist Democrat Parties agreed that important progress was made on the pressing issue of getting a Kenyan from the White House to the Great Wall for a photo op.

Mission Accomplished.

“strong interest from the Chinese public who, surveys suggest, are largely positive in their view of the American president.”

Wow that is so important-—NOT.

Last time I looked Chinese citizens are not in charge of much of anything even in their own country.

Meanwhile Zero is below 50% approval even in the Gallp poll in the only country where it matters.
