Now the numbers are getting interesting. Minus 5 in the overall is a big number.

They are indeed. Gallup tracking is going to have his approval under fifty percent today for the first time (amongst all adults, not just registered or likely voters), and the average on Real Clear Politics is creeping closer and closer to that fifty percent threshold, even including the ridiculously inflated network polls.

Yeah, but he actually gained a point in the real poll from yesterday, which is all I think matters.

Can anyone explain, which number has more political impact, the overall number or the “Strongly Approve/Disapprove” number?

An impprtant milestone would to have the strongly disapprove number move to 45. It would be hard for anyone to overcome a 45+ disapproval.

Agree. I don’t think the “disapprove” and the “strongly disapprove” will eventually be very far apart-—but you will still have an “approve/strongly approve” of about 30% no matter what.

BUMBLING IDIOT ALERT
However, he is able to pass almost anything he wants! Who are the real losers?
To: Bobkk47
Neither has ANY impact because the state run MSM will not report it, they are to busy window dressing Obamacare.

Did you notice how Obama said he doesn’t watch polls, then he told Major Garrett polls around the world show the US standing has gotten way better since he became president?

What’s good is that the negative value is a result of a decreasing approval rating. It’s at 27, which is the lowest it’s ever been.

The question is, how much of the disapproval is because Oba Mao has not pushed Obamacare through yet?
Suppose that 8% disapprove because he is taking too long to socialize the nation. Then, if Obamacare passes, one would think his rating would go up, although the intensity of those opposing him would increase.
Similarly, what if some of the opposition to the current healthcare bill is because it is not sufficiently leftist/pro-abortion?

This is very good news as I have been flat on my back with a severe cold all week. Let’s hope he continues to fail. I’m sure he will. America is waking up. Sure like being able to watch Glenn Beck during the day, He ROCKS!
