Does anyone know why the Bush administration didn’t already have the trial at Gitmo? KSM has been in custody a long time. It’s unforturnate that their fates are to be watched over by a Muslim brother.
It probably had alot to do with the Libs putting pressure on hims to close the place down, and if he would have had one of them executed it would be much worse than the trials in New York will be for Bush. Also, I believe that KSM would have much more power as a martyr than as a guy in jail. His martyrdom would be a recruiting tool. That would have been disasterous at the time.
