I am VERY surprised that this is posted on the LA Times.
This is just pathetic. Never have I seen anybody win so much recognition for doing so little.
Maybe Obama should watch the next NASCAR race on TV so he can grab the NASCAR trophy and then pander to all of the "NASCAR dads"...

Didn’t we predict this with the list of 1,000 different things when he won the Nobel? LOL I still laugh when I think of that.

I have a ‘blue belt’ that I’ve worked my ass of for. What a $hit! Never mind what I’m thinking right now. I’ll pass.

His karate black belt, his Nobel Prize and his first “auto” biography are all equally legit.

I heard that after Obama the government is going to
outlaw full-auto biographies.

It’s not posted on the LA Times. It’s on their “blog” That means no one sees it unless they search it out on their computer.
ABC, MSNC do this too.

Well, here’s your chance to throw down a challenge to his ass for his black belt!

I hear he’s been nominated for the Fields Medal for “proving” that his health care plan won’t raise the deficit.

And out of the Seoul sky, President Lee Myung-bak hands over to the American leader a tae kwon do outfit. And then Lee, who practices tae kwon do himself, presents Obama with a coveted black belt. I'd love to see Obama put on his little Tae Kwon Do outfit and go down to Po hang and visit the R.O.K. Marines to take his new black belt for a test run. He would wish that he'd never heard the words Martial Arts.

For a BJJ blue belt, a TKD black belt (assuming they are not doing BJJ too) is a quick tap out. Grats on the blue belt, btw.

with an arm like that, ten bucks says he's never played sandlot baseball or in the streets stickball.

Also, for a TKD black belt, a BJJ blue belt (assuming they are not doing TKD too) is a quick knock out. Just sayin’ :)

I know of at least one old Korean rock-breaker who will be very pi**-ed off at this award.
His black-belt tests lasted 3 days.
