For me personally, its not about religion but rather a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

What I believe (accept on faith) is [short version] that Christ died for my sins, was raised up on the third day, and that the bible is the inspired and preserved Word of God.

The reason I don't believe in Darwinian Evolution is because a) I've never seen it empirically demonstrated, b) my salvation does not depend on it, and c) it contradicts God's Word. (disclosure: I am a YEC)

The truth is, science shouldn't be about accepting on faith, someone else's interpretation of evidence.

Anyway, if you're going to spend any time on these threads, I highly recommend the following items:

• Thick skin.
• Fire-proof underwear.
• A properly adjusted intrinsically safe bozo filter set to either stune or sporkweasel.
• A fully functional sense of humor in good working order.

Used in conjunction, they can make for an educational and interesting read.

You won’t change my mind and I’ve no intention of changing yours. Just as millions have read Old Testament and learned various truths, it’s open for interpretation.

We can argue but the anger in this thread made it hard to read.

How does your relationship with Jesus tell you that God of the Jewish/Christian Bible created all the universe? You deliberately devalue all other religions, even those who worship the same God? Do I understant that right?
