Very large Somali population around the Seattle airport as well. They operate pretty much all the gas stations, convenience stores and taxis in the area.

I had a flight out of Seatac (Seattle airport) about a year ago but had some time to kill. I took a shuttle to a nearby very large shopping mall to look for some gifts. It was a Saturday so the mall was busy with about 80% percent Somali muslims wandering around. Women covered head to toe walking about ten paces behind the men. Somali muslims everywhere. To me it was quite surreal.

I was in Seattle in September. I saw a lot of Muslims, but I couldn’t tell if they were Somali or not. How does one know?
