The Earth's average temperatures have stopped climbing since the beginning of the millennium, and it even looks as though global warming could come to a standstill this year.Does this sentence make any sense? Global warming stopped ten years ago but global warming may come to a standstill this year? What?

It stopping rising in 1998, that's almost 12 years.
And by the way... you might look at that bright yellow thing in the sky for your answers “scientists”.

They finally admit that there has been no warming in recent years, after lying for 10 years that the warming is “accelerating”.

According to the very best Climatologists, Global Warming departed for an unscheduled extended holiday but rest assured Global Warming shall return in fifty years so continue to send more cash to our favored scientists, the IPCC, and brutal dictators of the third world.
Britain's Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research ...the world grew warmer by 0.07 degrees Celsius (Zero, 0.0 degrees Celsius, considering El Niño and La Niña effect) from 1999 to 2008 and not by the 0.2 degrees Celsius assumed by the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

If your religion states unequivocally that 1+1=5, you will be forever "baffled" as to why it always actually adds up to 2. Oh, and you'll be continuously so outraged at everyone who blasphemes your sacred sum of 5 by insisting that the outcome is actually 2 that you will call for a halt to all discussion of how addition works by the heretical "5 deniers".

Smiling takes 6.

My new climate model based on the last 10 years of monthly satellite temperature data (that’s n=120 observations, statistically significant)shows that rising CO2 causes falling global temperatures. Can I have my Nobel prize now?

Exactly who is this moron "climatologist", who is "baffled" by this?? I am sick & tired of anonymous proclamations like this. Will the real Baffled Village Idiot please stand up?
This is like when Pres. BO makes remarks like "NOBODY thought..." No, not true, BO. YOU are The Ignorant One, and it's high time you owned up.
Follow the link and look at the chart. Note the sharp rise during the Great Depression? Must of been caused by that endless industrial expansion during the '30s. /sarc

So when their predictions are right, they’re right, but when they’re wrong it only proves that they are right???????? I liked it better when they said we were heading for another ice age.

Latif says scientists are not gamblers, earlier today, I put the current state of the hard-sell this way:
“I see a bright, green crap table in the middle of this enormous casino; around its thick, rich polished sides stand rows of spectators, all eyes on the passionate thrower at the players end of the field.
To his left is the steely-eyed keeper-of-the-game, handing out a seemingly endless stack of chips to the sweaty-browed player casting his dice as fast as his free hand can sling, while the other claw doubles down on every bet taking time only to scribble another IOU to add to the growing pile.
He is the passionate warmist come to play his final game, and the stakes are the house.
The fascinated spectators grow in number, knowing the very floor where they stand depends on the luck of the throw:
Will they walk away or will they tear down the house?”
Time to slink back in the shadows and await the next big game to paint, one card at a time.

when the ice never melts on the lakes in a few years, then let’s hear what they have to say.
natural cycles include massive sheets of ice covering large expanses of the earth occasionally.
celestial stuff happens.

Pretty sad, when you think about it. The best reporting on global warming is coming from Germany, and the best reporting on Afghanistan is coming from England.
