I shop at Costco - what bothers me is “green” products everywhere that are more expensive and not as good. Really - Costco needs to poll the politics of their shoppers - we’re NOT a bunch of liberals.

Costco is run by liberals, they don’t really care what their customers think.

Yes. The new "green" Kirkland dishwasher detergent is a POS. Too bad, because the old stuff that they made was just as good as Cascade. So I've switched back to Cascade.

That pisses me off too. Liberals get a chance to vote with THEIR wallets but we get to get our noses rubbed in overpriced falsehood or go somewhere else. I'm reminded of the time some bunch of greenie weenies or other was calling Staples out because not enough of their customers were buying recycled crap paper and other products. As if it's Staples' job to defy and steer OUR preferences instead of STFU and stock the stuff WE want to buy.

Power company, same shiite. The Weenies can buy green power (for extra, of course) but I can’t exclude it, either to get a price break, or because I don’t think the greens have made their case, nor can I specify nuclear only, either because it’s cheaper, because I want to flip off the greens, or because it’s more engineering intensive and I happen to be an engineer.
