GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. Hundreds of Sarah Palin fans lined up Wednesday at a Michigan book store to get the chance to meet the former Alaska governor as she kicked off a national tour for her book "Going Rogue."
Some supporters camped out overnight to be among the first to get wristbands from the Barnes and Noble bookstore at Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids. Those with the orange bands will get the opportunity to have the former 2008 Republican vice presidential candidate sign their copies of the book at the three-hour signing event Wednesday evening.
The memoir was released Tuesday but has topped best-seller lists for weeks.
"Everyone here has been excited and patient," Barnes and Noble spokeswoman Maddie Hjulstrom said of the waiting crowd.

Ping.
A good point made by Andrew Breibart - BigGovernment - says, if she had a show in competion with Oprah or the View Sarah would CRUSH them in the ratings.
People were lined up the night before.
Lots of men in the crowds too.
GO SARAH GO SARAH GO SARAH
Thanks for being there for me too.
Know there are lots of us who wish we were in your place.
Again, thanks so much.
These are the same people who claimed “tens of thousands” marched on Washington on September 12th.
Reporters were not math majors in college, apparently.
I heard or read some time yesterday that the store gave out 1000 wrist bands and that many folks showed up and were denied the wrist bands. So perhaps 2000 folks showed up? That is hundreds, about twenty of them.
The men like her because she is to be admired for her strength, feminimity, motherhood, brains, looks — she is the whole package.
They haven't fact checked any of Obama's books or Algore's writings or J'effinK's claims, but they have the reporter-power (must be PC) to send out 11 fact checkers on Sarah-- even when they are laying off 38 people at the AP. ROTFLOL.
just a bunch of your typical white people I suppose LOL!
"For such a time as this"

If it was Obama and 10 thousand showed up, the media would pronounce ‘upwards of’ a quarter million...
It WAS thousands. They gave away at least 2000 wrist bands, plus there was a line for those with no wristbands, plus there were the curious who just wanted a glimpse.
...that we need to get from each of Governor Palin's book tour stops.......to PROVE the large numbers of supporters that she is attracting. From Mlive.com:
I didn’t know that Al made the trip to the core to perform the study. The other question that comes to mind is what in the hell is his thermometer made of?
