Back when FORD announced that they could go it alone, without taking any Gubmint handout money, I bought a slug of FORD Stock. I have done well.
Yesterday I saw on the Yahoo Financial page that Soros has just bought a slug of FORD Stock, too.
Now I have a sickening feeling in my gut. That slimey bastard cannot have any interest in seeing FoMoCo do well. So what’s he up to?

Soros will
NOT short Ford stock.
There's good reason for this: with the new Obama Administration fuel economy mandates, Ford has become VERY well-positioned to take advantage of these new mandates, given the arrival of the new Fiesta subcompact around May 2010 and the new third-generation Focus compact around November 2010. And Ford has said the C1 platform the new Focus is built on will also be the basis for an all-electric car coming in 2012.
