I hate the caption too. If Palin is so “bad for the GOP” shouldn’t they be ENCOURAGING her to run in 2012? They are nothing but leftists.

Your choice. Definitely sexy, though!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

The more they mess with her, the more I love her. I hope she keeps them up at night. LOL

WHY she wore the shorts is really irrelevant here, the reason that NewsWEAK used it is the main point.

Sexist, has-been rag that it is, NewsWeak is trying to point out that she has no "gravitas" like a male would because she's posing in shorts.

Let's review:

Jackie Kennedy got the same "gasps" when she appeared in public in a bathing suit on water skis. Seems much of the liberal establishment - who are all for free sex and abortions on demand - have a problem realizing you don't have to look like hillary clinton or eleanor roosevelt to be the "presidential" type>

Who's got that picture of Ted Kennedy in a bathing suit with that 200 pound belly hanging out...did he get slammed for that one?

So far as I know, jogging shorts are still legal and proper in the United States, it doesn't mean one works in the red light district because s/he wears them.

Beside all of the noise about it is coming from the leftist feminist wing, where beauty is as rare as obama saluting the Flag.

It's a sexist, cheap shot by newsWEAK and is only fodder for the left to continue to throw stones...something they do when they're out of ideas.

This issue will sell like hotcakes...a collectors item.

No 35014 (53.6%)

I love that photo of her. It was appropriate in Runner’s World; Newsweak is using it to disparage Sarah.

Is there a legal way of stealing?

Certainly silly we call it Taxes, and Fees, then there is licenses, and permits.

"...in a pair of teeny-tiny gym shorts ..."

Yeah, a_hole....A pair of those ass-dragging, hanging-off-the-butt like the lefties wear would certainly be more appropriate..

I guess it comes down to how Sarah Palin wants people to see her. Not to defend Newsweek but can’t any magazine portray her as they choose? She isnt a declared candidate for any office. She is a former governor and a former VP candidate. Basically she is an individual out there pushing her book which is absolutely fine and expected. I just don’t get what protocal people are citing here that would make that cover objectionable.

It’s a great photo I wonder how it compares to the Presidents wife in shorts and Hillary in the bathing suit.

Photographer & Newsweek Violated Contract Using Sarah Palin Photo

The photographer who shot the picture violated his contract by reselling them to Newsweek. That photographer, Brian Adams, could not immediately be reached, and his agent, Kelly Price, declined to comment, saying, “I keep all of my clients’ business private.

” But a spokeswoman for Runner’s World confirms that Adams’s contract contained a clause stipulating that his photos of Palin would be under embargo for a period of one year following publication — meaning until August 2010.

She's wearing more than many of the younger college students at the university I attend.

More than some of the high school girls in my area, too.

Libs. If the body is good to look at, why is it bad for us to see Sarah Palin has one? Talk about double standards.
