Better to know what is being said so people can discuss it and bring it to the attention of their Parish Priest if they should so choose.

You are right. I have confronted the assistant pastor in the church parking lot after Mass just once for advocating some socialist crap from the pulpit. (It was several years ago and I can't remember the specific topic). He tried to defend his position but finally jumped in his car and left. I don't care if he is a priest, I will confront a socialist advocate. If this is official church policy, I would leave the church. Unlike 0bama.
