Lazy and disinterested is the key. Their knowledge of civics is typically FAR less than their knowledge of the inner workings of the Patriots (or Mets or Lakers or North Stars, etc.). They are a large part of why this nation has problems.
They know nothing about civics and they are so surprised when the court system sucks them in and spits them out.
