Neither Doctors nor Lawyers are subject to the same level of discipline as even regular Officer REMFS..
It is much tougher to become a Private in the Marines or an Army Combat Arms Troop than it is for a Doctor or Lawyer to recieve a Commision.
They (Lawyers and Doctors) recieve half assed abbreviated Officers training. They take for a Joke even the training they are provided and really do not give a crap looking down at their NCO trainers as inferiors.
Of course there is the occasional exception and I have met them.. But they are rare as hens teeth.
Now all can see the results of such folly.
The sad truth is that Tigers are an endangered species in the New US Military.
Young Lt and Captains in Combat Arms are watched carefully and shitcanned often just to keep the numbers of Steely eyed Killers down to the minimum number in the Officer Ranks.. When they are wounded permanantly diabled they are not moved into Combat Support or Combat Service Support to drive excellence and increase the productivity of such support fields. When ever possible they are shitcanned.. Retired Med from the Service..
