No, American promiscuity and if-it-feels-good-do-it immorality is what has kept us awash in infections.
We talk about it ALL THE TIME. TV, radio, movies, books, schools, newsrags. . .
That was exactly my reaction:

They talk about almost nothing else. That is the problem. It’s not the end-all and be-all of living.
