With only 14% of the stimulus has been spent, supposedly to create jobs.
Hope and change, baby.

"One recipient, Talladega County of Alabama, claimed that 5,000 jobs had been saved or created from only $42,000 in stimulus funds.
Wow, they saved or created each job by spending only $8.40.

No kidding! Check this out...
Obama’s mouth piece, Anita Dunn, regarding her continued war against Fox News.
Dunn also criticized Rove and the Bush administration for holding secret meetings in the White House.
We are running this transparent and very accountable administration, she said. That was not the case when Karl Rove was calling the shots in the White House for eight years.

USA Today noted that: the federal government sent Bob Bray $26,174 in stimulus aid to fix a fence and replace the roofs on public apartments in Blooming Grove, Texas, a town of fewer than 900 people outside Dallas. He hired five roofers and an inspector to do the job. But the number of jobs he reported to the government looked very different450 jobs.
“Oh, no,” said Bray, who runs the local public housing authority part-time with his wife, Linda, when asked about the discrepancy. He said that he told the government that he had created six jobs but that a federal official told him that wasn’t right. So he reported the number of hours the roofers worked instead. The Department of Housing and Urban Development caught the mistake, but he couldn’t fix it before the jobs figures were published. “The money was great, but the reports are really confusing,” he said.
“I’ve been fighting with it for over a month and a half.”

’ Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board to remove information from 12 stimulus recipients that contained “unrealistic data,” including “unrealistic job data.”
notice they are not changing the rules that led to this sort of nonsense. If they did, they’d find they created or saved a dozen jobs.

Some of the other recipients whose data was omitted included Belmont Metropolitan Housing Authority in Ohio that reported 16,120 jobs saved or created after receiving $1.3 million in stimulus funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Shelton State Community College in Alabama reported 14,500 jobs saved or created after receiving $27,000 from the General Accounting Office. And Alkan Builders of Alaska reported 3,000 jobs saved or created after receiving $11 million from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

I think it would fly, given its use during the Bush years.
People would pick up on it instantly.
Obama lied; Jobs Died

I just caught the tail end of a top-of-the-hour news report. It said that there were "X" number of jobs (I didn't catch the exact #) reported as having been created/saved in Arizona's 9th Congressional District. Problem is, Arizona only has 8 districts.
Oops!
