Some of the most conservative people don’t associated with the Republican Party. New Jersey and New York both have thriving Conservative parties and the do vote principle, not party.

Not anymore. The NE states are flat broke. Taxes are being raised on everything. VA and NJ should be a good indicator of 2010. People simply can't afford to live in these states anymore. Welfare Death Care and Cap and Tax will destroy them.
Sure, there will still be welfare democrats and rabid Marxists voting (and there are lots of them), but those with common sense are crying out for a REAL savior.
MAYBE this coming election will bring some welcome surprises. Regan, a conservative running against a democrat recession like Obomas, got 49 states. It was a clean sweep.
