Every single time we've played by the rules, we lost. During the revolution, IF we had played/fought by Englands rule, we would probably have lost.
During Pearl Harbor, we didn't exactly follow the rules, and in the end, we won.
The rule have become more complex in the modern world, thanks to "political correctness"...which amounts to making up the rules as you go along for political expediency.
Ol' Doug might not be the most elegant orator, and he certainly doesn't have that Hollywood look about him, but he's a fighter, and I like that.
I don't know how this will turn out, but I wish him the best in his endeavors...Doug just might be the "David" we need to slay the "Giant" (ACORN).

Not likely. Disregarding the Democrat majority that would never remove their Speaker, you’d have to demonstrate a criminal conspiracy on her part to fix the election (it wasn’t necessarily “illegal” swearing in Owens, but it was jumping the gun).

But Hoffman conceded though - does that make the race officially over? I believe a concession is simply a courtesy.

No it does not. All it means is that he acknowledges, on the information he has, that he has lost. If that information is incorrect then he can still win.

Every single time we've played by the rules, we lost. Our wartime rules of engagement have cost us a lot of US Military lives in Viet Nam and every engagement since, up to and including today in Afghanastan. Why we handicap ourselves with politically correct rules that the other side doesn't have to live with just befuddles me. As a matter of fact the other side knows our ROE and uses them against us by using women and children to carry munitions, place IEDs, etc.
