Yes, it is indeed a serious question, Mr. Elshami. And voters a year from now will be answering it for you loud and clear.
How do they think this will survive the first constitutional trial in surpeme court?
(Unless Obambi gets to name a few more)
She’ll find out how serious a question it is if Congress tries to impose the law and she ends up as a defendent in a class action suit by half the citizenry defying the law.....
***”You can put this on the record,” said Mr. Elshami. “That is not a serious question. That is not a serious question.”***
**Might I suggest that we have more serious problems than we can even fathom.**
I fathom the situation ... we’re in DEEP!!!
Well They’ll stone you and say that it’s the end
They’ll stone you and then they’ll come back again
They’ll stone you when you’re riding in your car
They’ll stone you when you’re playing you guitar
Yes But I would not feel so all alone
Everybody must get stoned
Alright
To Nancy and her ilk “stoned” must mean “taxed”
But then I realize the botox released would probably kill me where I stood.
Once upon a time, the Supreme Court would step in and declare a newly passed law as unconstitutional and therefore null and void. The didn’t wait for an appeal or “standing” or any of that crap. Just boom. Done. End of story.
They stopped doing that shortly after World War One, I believe. Too bad. The Sleeping Nine could have saved us a ton of money — and our nation — if they had just DONE THEIR DAMN JOBS and defended the Constitution.
Now We The People will have to restore and defend the Constitution ourselves. And that will get very, very messy.
Which reminds me ... save some tar and feathers for the Sleeping Nine.
Not buying the so-called OmamaCare insurance has criminal penalties, but if there is massive passive resistance, can the feds put millions of us in jail?
The socialist, statist USA the left are set on needs tax receipts and confiscation to run on to pay out the promised “benefits”. Just don’t pay the taxes and don’t send your money to Washington.
Self-employed make quarterly estimated tax payments. Maybe the self-employed should estimate zero tax for a few quarters. Wage earners have taxes taken out on each paycheck. Maybe wage earners should put down five or ten dependents on the form and not over with hold next year. Remember, that refund wage earners look forward to is just extra pre paid taxes being returned without interest.
If tax receipts fell off markedly, Washington politicians might just realize we are not to be ignored. Right now, the Democrats think having majorities in Congress and the White House makes them invulnerable.

Nancy, your jail cell is almost ready.
Would you care to elaborate on the differences between these two socialist programs?
Mark
I have asked my representative these two questions and I strongly urge to ask your Representative and your two Senators the same questions. Ask in email, snail mail, or over the phone.
Dear (your Congressman or Senator),
My reason for writing you is to ask two questions about the Constitution.
Question #1:
Please explain the meaning of the words Powers herein granted as found in Article 1, Section 1, of the Constitution of the United States.
Ref: Article 1, Section 1. All legislative Powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives.
Question #2:
Please explain the meaning of the words powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution as found in the tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
Ref: Amendment 10. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
The point of these two specific questions is to determine how your Representatives reconcile their two answers. I will not share the responses I received for fear you will be discouraged.
Perhaps if enough of us ask they will see merit in taking our questions seriously.
