Hey, kid...this is a free speech zone. Don’t try to control the conversation.

If I have constructive criticism for Sarah, I’ll say it right here!

I support Sarah Palin for President in 2012 and I will do everything I can to help her win... once I know that she is actually going to run.

I also understand your concerns, but you shouldn’t have posted that, and that kind of threat/control will never work with most of us......

Imagine: You ride a Honda Gold-Wing up to a biker bar and park in front. You walk in a shout, “All of you Harley riders need to move your pieces of garbage to the rear parking lot. Your noisy vibrators are making the rest of us real bikers look bad”.

What do you think is going to happen?

1- all of the Harley riders will dutifully push their bikes out back.

2- the bikers will argue about who gets to buy you a beer.

3- you’re going to get your clock cleaned in a stomp-down... and your Honda will be set on fire.

Recommendations: Defend Palin, argue WHY she should be our president, yell about how important this election is to the survival of our country.... maybe even buy the house a round. LOL

Oh, I ride a Harley. ;>)

I had to do a double take on this one. Is this for real? Silencing and/or ignoring valid criticism would make us no better than our liberal/socialist opponents.

Why shouldn’t we question her qualifications or credibility?

Nothing should be sugar coated here, we need to make sure she is THE most qualified person to represent right-of-center, and THE most likely person to topple obummer in 2012.

Some of us have doubts.

I’m with you in supporting Palin.

These trolls—it’s kind of pathetic. They don’t seem to know what they’re up against.

Those of you. You know who you are.

I don't care who you are...you are hurting your own cause...

Anti-anti Palin comments...should be seen as trolling and should not be tolerated on Free Republic.

There, fixed it for ya. Now I'm going back having a life.

I think the best advice is we need to weigh the facts and do not hesitate to point out where there is a problem. If you want to advocate for Sarah Palin, support those who make true statements and bring forth the truth as best as you know it to those who make false statements.

Dude/Dudette,

First of all, I love Sarah, and I think she would make a great President. Just watching the left panic and wet their collective pants would make it worth it. That's my opinion and I am very conservative.

Now, having said that...Free Republic is exactly that...free. We embody all walks of life, all genders and races, and widely varied opinions. There are going to be people who don't like Sarah for one reason or another, ranging from the fact that she's a woman, to the fact that she has children.

Butt we all know what opinions are like, and we all have one. You seem very passionate about your stance on the subject, thus you also have an opinion.

However, you're coming across like Party-line Pete, and almost demanding that we jump into lockstep with your opinion...well dude...ain't gonna happen here on FR...I've been around here since 2001, and believe me, this is not a lockstep group. The FR gang actually is the epitome of conservatism as we're mostly all individualists with our own opinons...and I get flammed plenty for some of the things I post.

Remember, you can't PUSH a ROPE! The people who are easily lulled in to a zombie trance and follow ACORN to the polling booth, are democrats. The people to try to threaten and intimidate you into following THEIR ideas, are democrats.

Take a breath...the cream always rises to the top, and if it is meant for Sarah to shake up the world, then it will happen. I know out of the current list of qualified conservatives, she has my vote.

But she has my vote because I have watched and listened to what she says, and I have studied her record. I'm 64 years old and all that catterwalling about her dresses, her children, and her ethics charges (all overturned) is just tabliod chatter to keep some flea-bitten journalists in jobs.

The sour grapes McCan't campaign geeks are trying to off-load their failures onto her, and I certainly would never base my opinion of anyone on a Katie here's-my-colin Couric interview...the lowest rated anchor in the business. To do that would tend to elevate the importance of Couric to some superior level, and she's just a teleprompter reader who convinced someone to put her on prime time.

It's a long way to 2012, and a lot of things can happen. Hey, who saw her resignation coming? I sure didn't. But in hindsight, I think it was a great move, and showed leadership and compassion for the state of Alaska that she loves, and for her family.

Those that ridiculed her decision to resign are the same ones who piled all the phoney ethics charges on her, causing her to have astronomical legal bills. So it was a smart move. She could have quit after a week, and still had more administrative and leadership experience than our current pres-ent.

I like that line in the movie that went, "You never know what the tide will bring in tomorrow."...or something like that.

So chill on the groupthink, we're all going to think what we think, and we cannot be "herded" into a party line or a lockstep...if you want that behavior, go over to DU.

So chill...whatever will be, will be.

I am very proud of those that stand of the side of free speech, even if I disagree with you on a subject, I still respect your willingness to debate an issue. That’s one of the things that makes us American’s.

We will know your posting history. We know where your opinons(sic) are coming from.

Take your "big brother" shit elsewhere. I like Sarah and generally agree with her. I also believe she would flatly tell you to take a long walk off a short peer with rhetoric like you have posted.

Your post smacks of fascism, not conservatism.

I, and others are going to keep a list of Palin hating trolls so the rest of you know who has credibility and who doesn’t. who is a troll, and who isn’t

As you can see I have been a member here for a long time. I don’t remember voting for a truth squad to hunt down those who post “un approved” opinions. I may or may not be a fan of Palin but since you are starting a list, add me to it.

Stupid idea.

I like Sarah Palin but I’d spread vicious rumors about her before I’d submit to decrees of what I can and can’t say by someone like you.

YOU hurt the conservative cause.

If you’re over 16, I’ll be a monkey’s uncle.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that. But wait until you’re out of high school to make your proclamations on what the rest of us are allowed to think and post. And even then, don’t.

Did you think that some of us are not ready to annoint her the standard bearer of the republican party just yet.

Currently, I like Michelle Bachman more than Palin. I’m more impressed by her. I’m really interested in Mike Pence. I’ve always liked Fred Thompson.

There are other republicans out there, and we do have a primary before we pick our nominee.

I’ll wait until the primaries and their debates before I pick my candidate.

I cant imaging someone with conservative principles suggesting that open discussion should be suppressed. You would get along very well with Stalin and Mao. They had an aversion to criticism too.

I like Sarah Palin, but, I am not sold that she is ready to be president. I would like to see her gain more experience on a national level.

If Free Republic moderators ever purged (nice Stalin term) FR for expressing an anti Palin position then FR is no better than the intolerant left and this FR would no longer be worthy of my time.

I find your willingness to suppress intelligent debate chilling.
