He probably peaked in March. It appears his ‘savior’ status bought him enough understanding with the electorate to get ONE big bill through Congress. He chose the ‘stimulus’. He chose poorly.
The stimulus sucked, didn’t work, used up the public’s patience, and effectively ended the honeymoon. Obamacare and Cap and Trade are doomed to failure.
His incompetence in stimulating the economy may have saved our asses from his incompetence in healthcare reform and environmental regulation. Ironic.
He has Congress and the Senate ... and lacks the leadership skills to get anything done. This is what happens when a 1/2 term Senator that doesn’t know anything gets elected ... he’s a well-spoken empty suit with a teleprompter.
