Why is Kareem Abdul Jabbar's name associated with Terrorist Malik Hasan Nidal?
Washington Post | November 12, 2009 | myself

The Army psychiatrist who killed 14 people and wounded 31 others at Ft. Hood last week, warned a roomfull of senior Army physicians a year and a half ago that the military should allow Muslim soldiers to be released as conscientious objectors. During his slide show, Maj. Nidal presented:

"Evaluation ideas/hints

* Name: Kareem Abdu-Jabbar (Ferdindand Lewis Alcindor, Jr.) - hint about religious nature of parents. * Devotion: Koran, prayers, etc. * Perceived support of unit/fellow soldiers/military"

Why is Kareem Abdul Jabbar's name associated with this terrorist? Was Nidal authorized to use Kareem's name? What sort of relationship did Kareem and Nidal have? Has the FBI and/or Army intelligence interviewed Kareem in this regard?

Moreover, what does Nidal mean by hinting about the "religious nature" of Kareem's parents? I thought they were Roman Catholic-- Kareem was raised Catholic, went to Catholic elementary and high schools, and only later converted to Islam at UCLA.

Why is the MSM covering for Kareem?

I recall him as a classy guy during his career. Did I miss something?

From the conclusion of the presentation:

Muslims may be seen as moderate (compromising) but God is not.

When converting from a civilized religion like Christianity or Judiasm to a 9th Century death cult like I Slam one automatically comes to be suspected to be anything *but* "classy".

>>>I recall him as a classy guy during his career<<<

At UCLA he was moody, a little angry, generally quiet, and hung around Malcolm X types. He carried that moodiness with him into the NBA at Milwuakee, and only later could Magic Johnson lighten him up a little.
