A Missouri City man was able to get the drop on a pair of armed robbers Wednesday, shooting one several times as the other fled, authorities said.
The resident, 20, was working on a car in the driveway of his parents home on Glenwild at Hickory Glen about 3 p.m. when the robbers pulled up in a gold-colored Toyota Avalon.
Two men got out of car, including one who was carrying a rifle, Missouri City police said.
They rushed the 20-year-old and started demanding money, said Missouri City Police Capt. John Bailey.
The man told the robbers he didnt have any money.
But, they didnt believe him, Bailey said. They forced him into the house.
After he was forced upstairs, the man managed to grab a pistol and began shooting at the attackers, striking one several times, Bailey said.
The man later told police he didnt know the robbers.
Police said a blood trail started in a second-floor bedroom and ended in the driveway, where the wounded attacker collapsed.

It is difficult to determine who in this state is armed and who is not. Makes it a bear for the bad guys.
BANG.
There is no question in the policeman’s mind what happened.
Looks like the would be robbers paid a price for their crime.
Hope they catch the other 2 involved.
I’m sure that the perps had no prior convictions for anything.(/lib mind set set to rose color)
You gotta be crazy to rob someone or break into a home in Texas.
I little something I learned this summer, during training involving multiple attackers:
Screw the double tap!
Shoot each once, repeat as necessary.
I assume he shot the one with the rifle first. I think that’s what Will Muny wold have done. Of course he was always lucky when it came to killin’ folks.
Not only did the perps have no priors, they probably had their cars keyed and they might have even been teased and taunted. Just another case of the PTSD-afflicted and going loco. We should have empathy for the robbers and killer wanna-bes.
Good target, good shot
