We’ll have dinner here with daughter and her family. Son and wife go to Portland for their yearly Christmas shopping and shows week. My job is to supply a clean new 5 gallon bucket to brine the bird in and then slicing it with the electric knife. I’ve made the turkey for the past 30 years, time now to hand off the chore. Just have to teach her how to do it right.
At least I don’t have to get up in the middle of the night to go over and start, sil has to work so it will be a late dinner.
