"People say, 'Why didn't I call the cops,' but at the same time, I live in Richmond. A neighborhood like this, snitching is something you don't do, you know. I mean I have to walk down the streets now in fear of my life," Rodriquez said.

I used to live in Berkeley and my Pediatrician was in Richmond. It has always been a rough area, but this is way beyond the pale. The quote from from the teen (the only one) who tried to help the young lady. He was first arrested with the others and was later released. He covered her with his T shirt and tried to help her and to shame the others from attacking her.

I saw the interview and he was 21 years old, not a teen (technically an adult). Also, he came to help AFTER the scumbags had finished with her. The end of the segment showed him skateboarding down the sidewalk with his hat turned sideways. America’s future? I hope not.
