I wonder if they’ll give the shot if your daughter is already infected? They say you should start Tamiflu ASAP - like within 2 days of symptoms.
My daughter has asthma and was allowed a shot. That was a relief for me.
I guess if we were rats we would all be screaming that zero wants us all to die from lack of shots.
I will say the distribution of shots in San Jose has been a nightmare.
Instead of giving the shots to the doctors, they held a clinic open to everyone(insured, uninsured) who was quote “high-risk”, but they didn’t check to see if anyone was really high-risk.
We went to the clinic, and there were thousands of people there. They ran out of shots. We never even got in line.
I don’t understand how these people could get the shots before my daughter who is high risk and has insurance (and also is a legal US citizen because I am sure lots in the line were not.)
