If he’s open to opposing points of views and their logical arguments, then more power to him. Can’t expect a kid to know it all, but a desire to want to learn as much as possible and strong convictions will get him far in life.

I don’t agree with his parent influenced stance, but hopefully he’ll recognize and support a solid opposing argument to his present stance.

he probably is but he isn't getting rational arguments, just harassment and name calling, which will just increase his resolve
