What do you think about neonatal preemie care? Because, after all "He (they) obviously can't survive on his (their) own."

...neonatal preemie care?The survival rate for premature babies who receive the special care they need rises, of course, the longer they are in the womb.

At 23 weeks, 53% survive.

At 24 weeks, 67% survive.

At 25 weeks, 82% survive.

Unlike the 13 mo. old, they will eventually breathe on their own. That doesn't appear to be the case for him. Removing him from a ventilator does not equal taking his life; it's letting nature take its course. Hopefully I'm not wrong in my belief.
