Oh they didn’t last long. They weren’t heard much above cars honking and they were literally run off pretty quickly. Most of what was heard from them was by news reports. My DIL was plenty upset they were there. Thank the Lord my neither of my sons ran into them.
As you could tell by the "tenor" of my post, so am I.
By the time I got to McDonald's, there didn't appear to be anything out the ordinary, although being eastbound on the highway, it was hard to tell. When I came back westbound, following a KXXV remote unit, there was definitely nothing going on. KXXV remote unit turned off at the main gate to post. Don't know why, didn't see anything on the 10 PM news or on their website. (of course I watching Terminator 2, and missed the beginning of the news. :( )
