When I see military salute the fallen or the wounded it always tears me up.

(Is it common for someone to put their hand over their heart during TAPS?)

Is he puting a medal in front of their pictures?

They are some sort of battle coins...my hubby has a drawer full of them from 2 tours in Iraq...you are awarded them form your CO’s and other units you encounter....
