I still say Obamacare is D.O.A. in the Senate. Those clowns wanna keep their jobs.

Think again. There are 41 Dem Senate seats that are not up for election in 2010. Of the remainder that are, eleven are considered 'safe'. That's 52 seats - two more than they need to get this passed.

Do not underestimate the power of the dark side. They will do everything in their power to get this passed. It will take 51 Senators of conviction to keep it from passing; and as it stands now, there are far less than 51. And don't even think about a filibuster. That rule will be done away with by those same 50 Senators.

Whether the “government option” is in or out and “abortion payments” is in or out...Obamacare won't pass.

The Left won't vote for the bill unless “abortion & gov’t option” are in the bill and the GOP & conservative/pro-life senators of the Democrat party won't vote for it if either plan is.

It would be even less popular with the cops, because most of them would have a life expectency approaching zero, if they did this.

That is the bottom line and the reason socialism and communism has always and will always fail no matter who is in charge or how it is tweaked. Marxism is a failure because its basic premise refuses to recognize the realities of human nature. It is a philosophy that can't be fixed.
