Whole different ball of wax. Obummer knows it - it's just his blatant disdain for the intelligence of the American people - which, in a great percentage of cases, is, I guess, justified. After all, the people elected HIM, didn't they?

HEY!

I sure as **** didn't!

75% of the country is ‘riding the system’, as they don’t pay any income taxes

liberals are such morons

Yeah, he’s really concerned. Tell that to the couple buying jumbo shrimp and sushi with an independence card in front of me last night at Wal-Mart.

Must be a state thing; what is an "Independence Card?"

None, illegals are exempt from all penalties in the new bill.

This may sound like a silly (or stupid) question, but...

How do I renounce citizenship (temporarily)???

I wonder what his opinion is of the 50% of the population that pay no Federal Income Tax?

Very well put! It’s like a snake eating it’s own tail...when does it stop?

for people who try to free ride the system

Does this include all the new welfare recipients created under the stimulus bill?

The millions who cashed in and got free money with cash for clunkers?

Hey, here’s a solution: how about if those who don’t have either insurance or a means to pay for their health care directly, just don’t get treated? Why should someone be compelled to buy insurance if they can afford to pay for the treatments themselves?

>>”How dare a president of the USA threaten a free people?”<<

He really does hate us, you know? He is the most divisive and worst president this country has ever seen. I have felt at war with my own country since his coronation.

You’re correct, he needs to be impeached.

“Before millions go to jail, they are guaranteed a speedy trial and all the other provisions of due process of law. Massive civil disobedience in response to this tyranny would bring the legal system in America to a screeching halt.

In the blink of an eye there would be millions of criminals to prosecute for non-payment of health insurance premiums.

These criminal penalties are unconstitutional and completely unenforceable.”

Such niceties were never a problem to another Marxist named Joseph Stalin. Do you really think such wickedness no longer exists?

In the blink of an eye there would be millions of criminals to prosecute for non-payment of health insurance premiums.

Only if there's an efficient system in place to identify them.

Nicht Wahr?

We could eliminate homelessness over night by just jailing those who don’t buy one of Barney Frank’s affordable home loans, too!

What about those who don’t have health insurance, but pay their way out of their own pockets???

You haven't been paying attention, have you.
For example, presently, people on Medicare are prohibited by law to pay for their own medical expenses, if their doctor provides medicare services.

Assinine?LOL.
Yes, asinine.
The citizens cannot impeach a president. Only Congress can.

Lost your back bone?
My backbone is just fine, thankyouverymuch. Not sure of the relevance of that.
But if it ever becomes necessary, see you at the front lines, LOL

I was referring to those who have no coverage of any kind, yet pay for their health care.

Of course, the obvious answer is that they will be forced to do as the gov’t demands or suffer the consequences.

Those guns are worthless if people won’t use them. The public is so apathetic I’m afraid those guns will be confiscated before anyone is angry enough to use them.

Mr. Obama said, "penalties are appropriate for people who try to free ride the system and force others to pay for their health insurance."

Wow! I didn't realize he'd fold his tent and give up on socialized healthcare so quickly. Glad to see he's finally seeing the light.

Very true. And the appropriate penalty is NO MEDICAL CARE.

No, it's not. They're talking about people who don't buy medical INSURANCE. Why does everyone seem to think you should have to have medical insurance? What's wrong with just paying the doctor when you use his services? I think insurance, public or private, should be illegal except for catastrophic coverage, and everyone in the land should be on HSA's. It would keep everybody's nose in their own business and drive costs down.
