Ahhh....there it is....some people think satire is supposed to be a good counterfeit of the real thing and that isn’t it at all.
The point of good satire isn’t simply to fool the audience. Otherwise Dan Rather would have been satire.
Satire has to make a point by poking fun at the target by parody, silliness, humor, irony, etc.
Counterfieting a news story doesn’t neccessarily accomplish that.
What does scrappleface mean?
If you don’t like AZConservative’s satires, don’t read them. I like his more than Ott’s.... whose satires are pretty good too.
