I’m a white Republican, and I’m afraid of Mr. Steele - but not because he’s black - rather because he’s an idiot.
Why can’t we get Thomas Sowell or Walter Williams to run for something? Instead we get a feather-brained RINO who has some kind of black complex.
Steele spends at least 3/4 of his time attacking conservatives, other Republicans, and his own constituents.
He has bashed Rush Limbaugh, he has bashed pro-lifers and said there is plenty of room in the party for abortionists, he has bashed Sarah Palin, and he has praised Obama.
It has NOTHING to do with race. This guy is a loser, who appears to be working for the other side. We need an ALL NEW RNC. Not just Steele, but the whole RINO gang.
He is absolutely correct. The country took a chance and elected one of his race and what has happened? The President is not working for the people but for Chicago type crooks. The Black Caucus is under investigation. Black politicians around the country are under investigation for one reason or another. He wants us to back him? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. These people have ruined black politicians reputation for years to come.

Scared of him?? I sent him more than one contribution when he ran for the Senate. I thought he was the future of the party. Sadly, maybe he is.
I don’t understand this comment. Does he think people are physically scared? It is “profiling?” He is way off base.
This is a crucial time for America - and the Republican party. While Michael Steele may have once been a 'shining star' to Republicans, he is no more. Steele has shown himself to be an ineffectual party leader who can't articulate conservative principles because he obviously doesn't believe in them. I no longer take Michael Steel seriously. He needs to be replaced or the GOP is doomed to being nothing but a faint echo of the liberal Democrat party. That would mean disaster for our country.
Sorry Mr. Steel - you can whine about race all you want. The fact remains that you're ineffective and vapid, to boot. Time to go.
I hate when a black person play the race-card like Steele has done here. Is that supoosed to make me all of a sudden like them? Instead, that turns me against them faster than almost anything else. And it sticks with me. I am like an elephant, I do not forget.
