"Justice will be served...as long as the Rat doesnt mess things up!" This is what I'm worried about. Kaine is a strange man. Plus, he doesn't have an incoming VA Dem governor to protect. I hope commutation isn't a real possibility here.

I dont think Kaine will stop it. He hasn’t stopped a number of other executions, and this is the most egregious case of all.

OTOH, Tim Kaine is foremost a democRat partisan. After last week's electoral beat-down, I think the last thing he wants to do is give the Republicans yet another cudgel with which to smite the 'Rats.
