A furthering of “don’t ask & don’t tell.

The CIA and Intelligence agencies didn’t tell the Military.

The Military didn’t ask.

Just which country are we trying to ‘protect’ here?

It seems to be the case ex post facto...but were they aware of the reply from his controller.
