when the media went ape over the fact that it was a female cop, I smelled a rat - remember the “rescure” of Jessica Lynch?

so the female and male cop played a role in stopping the terrorist. They’re both heroes. For the past few days the only thing I heard is that it was just the female cop
I do NOT understand why we were told that the doctor died, that they had misidentified a dead victim as the shooter, while Dr. Hasan was in the hospital, his wounds being treated.
Fog of War Syndrome, I suppose??
Sgt Todd and Sgt Munley both deserve National recognition for their heroism.
BTW, I read one story that said at least 2 of the four wounds in Hasan came from Munley's gun.

I agree whole heartedly. Unfortunately, what happens is backlash to the weariness of the PC MSM. The MSM will ignore the story if the hero is a male. Especially if it’s a white male.
Sounds to me like Todd and Munley deserve equal recognition. That’s not good enough for the MSM, which salivates at the chance to once again prove women are superior to men.
Todd’s description clearly makes Munley a hero.
Munley was wounded, and that is likely why the media was focused on her first. Being wounded got her name in the media more quickly than Todd.
Remember that just TWO HOURS after the Ft. Hood shooting, the FBI was saying this was NOT an act of Terrorism. They didn’t know how many shooters were involved at that point. They didn’t have a full accounting of all dead and injured.
Publicly, they didn't seem to even know the shooter was even alive. But the FBI unequivocally "KNEW" that this was NOT an act of Terrorism, just two hours after the shooting. The Islamic-sympathizing Narcissist-in-Chief must be afraid he might jeopardize his Nobel. |
Lieberman needs to investigate the FBI's entire complicity in this Hasan history.
that is correct - the only cop we heard about the whole day of the event was the female. the male cop didn’t appear in the news until much later. they BOTH stopped the guy, and both should get credit.
They would probably like her to be charged with a hate crime for interfering with a personal Jihad. Very cuturally insensitive of her.
Things were pretty confused during and immediately after the terrorist attack. Initially, we were told that the terrorist was killed by Munley. We later found out that the dead person they thought was the terrorist was not. I pray that innocent person was not killed by friendly fire in the confusion.
Since all the information in both the interview and this story come from Senior Sgt. Todd, it's not really corroboration, just repetition. That's not to say that it's not spot on, it's just not a third part corroboration. The "female officer shoots jihadie" story came out before anyone had access to Sgt. Munley, possibly before she even regained conciousness, that version was not from her point of view. Since by the time Todd started shooting, she was already hit and starting to become "out of it" she may not remember anything past her shooting at the scumbag.
But it matters not, as Todd says, they acted as a team.
They didnt know how many shooters were involved at that point.

Talk about your "red flags."
As soon as I heard this (and considering how the situation was developing and little or no information could POSSIBLY have been known) I was (as I am sure many other were) suspicious about the identity and facts behind attack.
I am convinced that based upon previous incidents that the Federal Bureau of Incompetence (especially when considering how they have been co-opted by CAIR and under the new Fascist, Marxist Administration) that their "Default" position is the one they take/took whenever a Moozie is involved in any incident, less they "offend" someone.
More telling is from news I've heard that the DHS is not even involved in investigation.
O'Bozzo's lap dog, clueless Napolitano is probably too busy investigating little old ladies from tea party protests and returning vets who she perceives as "threats."
Welcome to 1984 deja vus all over again!!!
Sad, but not surprised. Trust and media are two words that no longer go together.
Unless of course the woman is Sarah Palin.
According to the article, Todd saw that Munley had been wounded and was down, yet, after he cuffed the downed jihadist he immediately started helping the other wounded but not Munley. What’s up with that?
Pssibily triage-related, or could be that Munley ordered him to do so (if she was alert), or even because the others were closest to him at the time.
He was doing his job, and I’m disinclined to worry about the prioritization (given that he was treating victims, and not the perp).

Somebody probably was assisting Munley by the time Todd cuffed the perp.
