That's true - and with as many active duty and their families as we have here, we've decided not to go to Applebee's. You know, make room for the young guys and their families, right?
Arch flew both P51's and P47's and was a member of the 405th Fighter Squadron who flew supplies to the "lost battalion" in the fall of 1944.
Arch is a quiet hero..a great man and a mighty Man of God. He is in great health, and God willing, will be with us for many more years.
The 405th is fabled.
