I thought so too, until I was clearing off my coffee table. Noticed that I had all kinds of coupons that I let expire, including those “take $3 off your next order.” Also those coupons that now come on grocery store receipts. All expired. Doesn’t say much for my housekeeping. LOL
That said, with so many out of work or with their hours cut, this seems like a good way to use your time.
Only thing is, here in S. Utah, I have yet to find a single store that doubles coupons, as there were in Ohio.
That is the problem. I used to try to clip coupons, but the problems I have here in Florida is that they never double coupons. They will only let you use one coupon per item. They won’t let you combine store coupons with manufacturers coupons. Also, I can only find coupons for processed foods and I eat a great deal of fresh food. I make most of my meals from scratch.
But coupons have never worked for us even though I have the time to look for them. For us, the monetary return for the amount of searching is way too small.
