The Muslim nations will never get anywhere unless they allow their women to become fully empowered citizens. Part of the power of the West in the past 100 years is that all our population has the oportunity to contribute to society, rather than just 1/2 the people.

I think an argument can be made that, because of the leftist social agenda in this country, a large part of that “freedom of choice” has actually been taken away and both men and women have been forced from the home and forced to “contribute” in order to support the funding of the welfare state.
