I too am truly disheartened this morning. I looked at Drudge this morning and saw that smiling jackal Pelosi.

For decency’s sake, I cannot post on FR the level of hatred I have for those people. God forgive me.

I asked, prior to this vote, what we would do if this thing passed. The democrats have no fear of the American voter. They have nothing but contempt for the Constitution.

Is this how the Founders felt living under the tyranny of King George?

I side with Jefferson when he said, “A little revolution now and then is a good thing.”

Just my thoughts on this dark Sunday.

“”I looked at Drudge this morning and saw that smiling jackal Pelosi.””

That’s when my TV went dark - the minute she showed up in red with that idiotic smile on her face. I guess that’s permanent tho’ with her plastic face.

I don’t understand why these women dress in red at big occasions in Congress. I seem to remember that it was Nancy Reagan who wore red at the State of the Union addresses and since then even the dem women wear red.

Does anyone remember them wearing red before Nancy Reagan?

.....We must respond politically. The tea parties are nice theater, but we must look for 2010 candidates to support. What can we do? Look at New Jersey and Virginia. That’s it. We must pass up on that pizza and send $20 to a candidate somewhere who will be in a tight race. We must take on that extra consulting job over the weekend and send $1,000 to someone running againstr a current congressperson in 2010. Donations get reported, and congressmen get scared when they know money is flowing against them. Everything else is just theater. We stage a protest and then whine and wail that the left wing media doesn’t report it. As if we thought they would. Money is the answer. And free enterprise people will always have the money. We have to start using it. And don’t think a $20 contribution doesn’t count, it does.

We need to expose this bill. The accomplice media will not reveal some of the most egregious aspects of the bill.

I think the first negative reaction will be with Medicare. We know that they are cutting up to 500B/10yrs for Medicare & Medicaid. They will ration. One way is the creation of “Medical Homes” (we can call them medical mausoleums). This encourages primary care doctors (including nurse practitioners) to restrict access to specialists and diagnostic tests. Imagine a nurse telling a patient that they can’t see a cardiologist or neurosurgeon.

The second major area is that of mandates. Mandates will increase insurance premiums and drive up costs. Mandates are also there to prevent insurance companies from raising premiums. Result: small insurance companies go out of business and large ones will have to be subsidized (bailed out). So your insurance will change.

Mandates by the Federal government to purchase a product or service are unconstitutional. Perhaps some type of collective action could be taken if these mandates survive the final bill. I think now we must beat the drum to the Senate regarding constitutionality.

If all else fails, short small insurance companies and device makers. Look for a freer country. Any suggestions?

Agreed. 1st wqe need an excellent writer here on FR to draft a letter we can all send to our “representatives “telling them in no uncertain terms that they are toast . Next we need to organize ALL anti Obama groups into ONE MASSIVE MOVEMENT. IDEAS?
We need leadership , money and aggressive action. Tea Parties and Town Hall meetings meant NOTHING so the next step of civil unrest is needed. Please folks ,,lets get off our asses and do this .

How is it tyranny? The people of each state and district elected the representatives who voted for or against this bill. The same people can vote them out next November if they are outraged. Our system still works. Remember, the other side hated Bush and the GOP Congress and voted them out.
