Personally, I think the whole scheme was a dog-and-pony show and that they already had the bulk of the blue dogs on-board months ago and that Peloser and her commie cronies allowed a WWF-style pretend fight to take place to make the blue dogs’ constituents think they were really out their fighting it.
I fear that the wild card up their sleeve is to ram amnesty through in early 2010 just as they did the socialized medicine bill (which is what it is, let’s not allow them to control the language).
Once amnesty is through, the “community organizers” can work with the census workers to get them all registered to vote.
The dems in power no longer have to worry about backlash from the independent and moderates and conservative democrats who oppose this socialism.
The truly frightening news is that, if this comes to pass, we will have to talk about “saving America” in terms of generations, not election cycles.
