Last night President Bush and Laura visited the injured and their families at Fort Hood. Today Obama and family left for Camp David.

When I read that, my jaw hit the desk! How can this be? How have we ended up with this man as our CiC?

I fear the reaction to O might be something like a Constitional amendment saying a person has to have served in the military to even run for President. That wouldn't be a good thing, but it takes someone like the One, who is obviously wholly incapable of even comprehending what it means to be CiC, to push the nation to such an extreme reaction.

I don't have a problem with that. In fact, I kinda lean towards a Heinlein approach, a la Starship Troopers, of making military service a citizenship requirement.
