Bush, although we DO know that he loved the military and was a patriot, spent like a drunken sailor. If I remember correctly, he didn't veto a single spending bill until into his second term.
His Supreme Court appointments were superb, but his terrible stance on immigration and his brand of "compassionate conservatism" are just two reasons why we now have Barry Hussein.

And if you wouldn't have President Bush back in a heartbeat after looking at Obama, we don't have much in common.
(Oh........that "compassionate conservatism led to Obama" is a bunch of hyperbolic poppycock. The two had nothing to do with each other. There are a slew of historic reasons why Obama got elected, and not one of them has anything to do with having a President who genuinely cared about people).
