A source told National Public Radio's Joseph Shapiro that Hasan was given a period of probation early in his postgraduate work for proselytizing Islam with coworkers and soldiers he was treating. Hasan did his early postgraduate work at the Uniformed Service University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md.

Walter Reed Natl Military Medical Center is (of course) located in Bethesda,MD. They began a merger with the University in 2005.
For six years before reporting for duty at the Texas post in July, Hasan worked at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center pursuing a career in psychiatry, as an intern, a resident and, last year, a fellow in disaster and preventive psychiatry. The Army major received his medical degree from the military's Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md., in 2001. But his record wasn't sterling. At Walter Reed, he received a poor performance evaluation, according to an official who spoke on condition of anonymity .... And while he was an intern, Hasan had some "difficulties" that required counseling and extra supervision, said Dr. Thomas Grieger, who was the training director at the time.

He attended several Homeland Security Conferences at George Washington University. The role of the Presidential Transition Task Force as including "representatives from past Administrations, State government, Fortune 500 companies, academia, research institutions and non-governmental organizations with global reach." While the GWU task force participants included several members of government, including representatives of the Department of Justice and the U.S Department of Homeland Security, there is no indication in the document that the group played any formal role in the official Obama transition, other than to serve in a university-based advisory capacity. Although he was an attendee, there is no evidence that he played an ACTIVE role in the Presidential transition task force advisory committee.

There are no reports in the "mainstream media" investigating the possibility that his attendance at these conferences were for information gathering purposes. Information about troop psychology, time and place of attacks, and the effectiveness of jihadist methods could be gathered in his everyday job as a counselor to those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan.
A counter-terrorism expert (Dave Gaubatz) says: "My team and I have conducted first-hand research at over 200 Islamic Centers in the U.S. ... There is one common denominator: an open hatred being advocated by Islamic scholars toward Christians, Jews, and Muslims who do not adhere to all aspects of Sharia law (Islamic law)."

The Associated Press has said authorities actually started looking into Hasan's activities several months ago after Internet postings about suicide bombings were linked to him.
"He said Muslims had a right to attack" the U.S., said Col. Terry Lee, who worked with Hasan at the Texas post, where the devout Sunni Muslim refused deployment. "He said Muslims shouldn't be fighting Muslims," he added. "He was very clear on that."
Muslim purification is attained through pilgrimage events. Muhammad said "A person who performs Hajj properly, will return as a new born baby" (free from all sins). After a cleansing ritual, pilgrims come in simple white robes, demonstrating unity in the faith.
It could be said that purification followed by martyrdom is a pilgramage of sorts. The Koran is clear about what awaits martyrs in the afterlife: "Think not of those who are slain in the cause of God as dead. Nay, they live in the presence of the Lord and are granted gifts from him."
Security cameras at a convenience store recorded Mjr Hasan behaving normally, wearing traditional Muslim gard (a white robe and hat), the morning of the shooting.
Soldiers who witnessed the rampage reported that the gunman shouted "Allahu Akbar!" an Arabic phrase for "God is great!" before opening fire, said Lt. Gen. Robert Cone, the base commander.
Gaubatz (author of Muslim Mafia) says that the Ummah, the Muslim Brotherhood, and many other Islamic organizations support jihad in America: "The murders by Malik Nadal Hasan at Ft. Hood, TX are not a lone wolf incident as being described by most media organizations. Hasan had been taught the ideology that is being advocated by hundreds of Islamic scholars and Imams in the U.S. We as a country can continue to deny there are numerous Islamic leaders and their supporting organizations such as CAIR, ISNA, MSA, and MANA, to name a few, who advocate killing innocent men, women, and children whom they allege oppress Islam. " He goes on to quote six different sources of Islamic materials urging exactly the type of behaviour exhibited by Major Hasan.

Obama met Friday morning with FBI Director Robert Mueller and other federal leaders to get an update on what they've learned. "We don't know all the answers yet. And I would caution against jumping to conclusions until we have all the facts," Obama said.
President Barack Obama is pushing back a trip to Capitol Hill aimed at discussing the proposed health care overhaul with lawmakers. Obama had planned to head to the Capitol on Friday. Now the White House schedule shows Obama planning to visit the Capitol on Saturday. On Friday afternoon, Obama plans to visit Walter Reed Army Medical Center. White House officials say the trip to Walter Reed had been scheduled before the fatal shootings Thursday at Fort Hood in Texas. They insist that the visit to Walter Reed, Obama's first as president, is separate from the incident at Fort Hood.

What a bunch of worthless scumbags.
Facts listed above. Here is the speculation: scrubbing the historical records and documents at Walter Reed Hospital related to Major Hasan. Scrubbing going on right now on his computer and anything else concerning motive, connections to other Muslims and possible connections to government officials or members of the Obama transition team.
This is what happens when the facts/reality do not fit someone’s Harvard paradigms. Stunned inability to perform. A truly leader ajusts to the situation. What would Reagan do?
LIAR is too gracious to him.
“Political correctness” will be America’s Waterlo9o.
...”the government which wants cozy oil deals.”
Another winner. Question: Will the next Governor of VA actually try to drill for oil off of the coast?
Doubt it!
Save a copy for yourself while you can.

Its kinda hard for the Left to spin the fact that a Muslim Army psychiatrist murdered, and attempted to murder, the soldiers he was assigned to council.
There are so many things this attack will drag out into the light that no amount of manure shoveling can ever cover.
what would Reagen do one thing, PATCO
It’s more than that. 0bama is not on “our” team. He’s on the “other” team. It is not naivete, it is treason.

Yep, that’s right. The imam at his mosque was a Faizel Khan....ISNA.
