Here's MORE, from Female Fort Hood Police Officer: Stopped Malik Hasan Cold:
...The petite police officer, was the first responder on the scene and she didn’t hesitate, shooting Maj. Hasan four times, stopping him cold, despite being wounded herself in both legs in an exchange of gunfire with the shooter.

Sgt. Kimberly Munley was nearby when she got the call of a shooting and responded to the scene within three minutes, encountering the gunman on a rampage, acting quickly and decisively. Lt. Gen. Bob Cone, Fort Hood’s commanding general, praised Munley for her brave actions that prevented more causalities. Officer Munley is a “trained, active first responder” who acted quickly after she “just happened to encounter the gunman,” said Cone.

“Really a pretty amazing and aggressive performance by this police officer,” Cone added. Cone was asked if Munley’s shots brought down the assailant and stopped the deadly rampage. “That’s correct,” Cone said. “The critical factor here was her quick response to the situation...”

Sergeant Munley required surgery for her wounds and she is now in stable condition, recovering in a nearby community hospital...
